THE work on a multi-million ringgit flyover project to connect the Kesas highway to Bandar Botanic has been completed.
Motorists from Bandar Botanic now have an easy access to the township once the 1.5km flyover is open.
It was learnt that the developer Gamuda Land was awaiting the go ahead from the Malaysia Highway Authority for the opening of the flyover.
The road signages are already in place to direct traffic from Kuala Lumpur to the township.
A slip road has also been built to provide direct access for traffic heading towards Kuala Lumpur from Bandar Botanic.
The flyover would ease the traffic congestion at the Klang interchange of the Kesas highway.
Currently, the interchange is causing massive traffic congestion for motorists heading towards Klang and Banting after office hours.
The situation had caused discontent among motorists especially those from Bandar Botanic.
It was earlier reported that the work was scheduled to completed by middle of this year.
The project at Km19.4 is built of a cost of RM36mil.
