THE decision of the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) to reject an application from a Baha’i group to convert a shoplot into a place of worship in Pusat Bandar Puchong sparked off a heated discussion among the councillors.
Councillor Tan Jo Hann said one of the two reasons stated in the minutes for rejecting the application, which specified only religions recognised by the Malaysian government will be allowed, is unacceptable.
