THE beauty of nature of the Upper Rajang has attracted French tourists, Sophie Guignard and her boyfriend, Karim Amar to fly thousands of miles from their country to the hinterland of Belaga recently.
The duo had arrived in Sibu on the eve of the grand finale of the Borneo Cultural Festival on July 24. As Karim was rather “impatient”, he made his way to Belaga first leaving Sophie who stayed behind for the BCF.
