THE Petaling Jaya City Council has approved an allocation of about RM3.5mil to solve the flooding problem in Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara and Persiaran Surian in Kota Damansara.
Councillor Syed Abd Malik Syed A. Hamid Al Jafree said RM2mil would be spent to upgrade the drains in Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara while Persiaran Surian would be raised by a metre.
