JOHOR BARU: The bold move by the Government to slowly remove the subsidies for essential items such as sugar and petrol is much lauded, but the projected RM750mil savings should be put to good use.
Malaysia Small and medium enterprises (SME) Association deputy president Teh Kee Sin said that the Government should show the plans for the savings incurred in the spirit of transparency.
