FSM welcomes Ministry’s suggestion

KOTA KINABALU: The Federation of Sabah Manufacturers (FSM) welcomed the Human Resources Ministry’s suggestion of employing illegal immigrants as foreign workers as one of the measures to meet the high demand for labour.

Its president Datuk Wong Khen Thau said the move may prove to be favourable especially in Sabah where the problem of illegal immigrants were prominent while there was a clear need for foreign labour particularly in the plantation and construction sectors.
