Lorry transport group puzzled by JKR advisory sign

THE Public Works Department (JKR) has been told to make it clear to the public whether it is an offence to beat an advisory speed limit warning sign.

A mandatory speed limit sign is round and yellow with a red border and the speed written in the centre while the advisory appears as a notice. One such sign has been erected at Mile 16 of the Kuching-Serian Road.
