Year 2000 census shows more males than the fairer sex in Sarawak

MALES in Sarawak outnumbered the females by 26,723, according to the last census taken 10 years ago.

The Population and Housing Census of Malaysia 2000 recorded 1,018,308 males in Sarawak whereas the females numbered 991,585.
