A MITRAL valve surgery will be performed on two local patients today at Normah Medical Specialist Centre by consultant cardiologist Dr Peter Wong and visiting renowned Taiwanese heart specialist Dr Jui-Sung Hung.
According to Dr Wong, the two female patients, aged 28 and 46, would go through a surgery technique called Percutaneous Transvenous Mitral Commissurotomy (PTMC).
