KUANTAN: Efforts are being taken to streamline the functions of various marine and maritime agencies, to form one body to take charge of monitoring the country’s maritime zone.
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Ahmad Maslan said there were overlapping functions among the 11 departments and agencies that patrolled the waters off Malaysia.
