THE Ipoh City Council has managed to increase its fixed deposit savings to RM60mil in 30 months from only RM15mil after introducing measures to cut down on expenditure and improve revenue collection.
Datuk Bandar Datuk Roshid Hashim said the council had made it easier for ratepayers by deploying mobile collection units to shopping centres, community halls and markets.
