AFTER a 21-year long wait, a public bus service will be provided to the Penang Sentral bus terminal in Butterworth and Machang Bubok in Bukit Mertajam via the Penang Bird Park on Jalan Todak, Seberang Jaya.
Park director Dr Gino Ooi said Rapid Penang had launched the U709 bus route on May 14 that provided direct rides to the park, with a 40-minute interval.
