Shopping for the ultimate death experience

THEY came from all over the world and they were dead serious about their business. Their professions revolved around “death” — cemetery operators, tomb makers and casket manufacturers converged at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre for a grave concern — the billion-dollar business of funeral services.

The third Asia Funeral Expo and Conference held from May 13 to 15 had attracted more than 150 exhibiting companies, 20 international delegate groups and over 2,000 trade visitors from 40 countries including as far as France, Fiji, Nigeria and Russia.
