He and Woon come out second in All-England Seniors Open

DESPITE picking up the silver medal, former national junior shuttler Ong Sin Oong had the chance to relive the golden moments of his competitive junior playing days at the 94th All-England Seniors Open Championships at Milton Keynes last month.

Although it was more than 40 years ago that he featured in the victorious Penang side to capture the King’s Cup junior team event in 1968, the 61-year-old said it was certainly a great feeling to be able to perform up to his potential at a high level veteran meet.
