KL Design Week
THE Kuala Lumpur Design Week TwentyTen (DW2010) starts today and ends on May 16 where it will feature some 20 showcases in 10 different locations all over the city. At Capsquare, exhibitions such as the Secret Tents will see a wide range of displays by individuals and collaborations being presented inside tents, while the School Showcase section sees works from Malaysian students in architecture, interior design, graphic design and fashion design. Cyberview will be hosting the Cyberjaya Junior Golf Clinic at the Kelab Komuniti Taman Tasik Cyberjaya driving range today from 9.30am to 3pm to give young aspiring golfers a chance to learn more about the game. The clinic will feature professional golfers and coaches from the Airil Rizman Golf Academy who will lead participants through the basics of golf from theory to practice. The workshop will end in an exciting competition where participants will be able to put their newfound golf skills to the test. The golf clinic is open for participants between the ages of four and 16 who are students and residents of the Cyberjaya-Putrajaya area. THE Furry Friends Farm and Dr Dogs (animal therapy programme) is organising a Walk for Harmony today at the entrance of Atria Shopping Centre in Damansara Jaya, PJ, The walk will also see the participation of mentally disabled and special children together with the public with their dogs, to symbolise the harmonious bond between human and animals.
