THE excitement is building towards for the launch of Miri May Fest this weekend, but the city is still short of 500 participants to place Miri in the Malaysia Book of Records as the venue for the biggest outdoor eco-shopping exercise tomorrow.
Miri mayor Lawrence Lai said that 4,500 participants had been registered and appealed to the public to fill the remaining 500 places.
