Bidayuhs celebrate Bung Bratak on Saturday

FOR the 22nd time since 1988, thousands of Bidayuh will perform their ancestral duty to climb up the 300m Bratak Hill in Bau district, about 52km from Kuching, to celebrate the Bung Bratak Day on Saturday.

The annual event is to commemorate and pay tribute to Bidayuh ancestors, who once lived on a hilltop settlement, and celebrate the Bidayuh roots, history and culture.
