ALMOST 200 former squatters are on the verge of getting kicked out of their rented homes because the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) has failed to live up to its promise of paying their rent.
Othman Harun, 76, a retiree said MPAJ was supposed to give them RM400 a month for rent but they had not received any money since February.
