USM to analyse coastal trash in bid to detect source


A GROUP of researchers from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) will document the rubbish collected during the ‘Earth Day 2010 — Coastal Cleanup: Say Yes to Cleanliness’ campaign in Penang this Sunday.

Komtar assemblyman Ng Wei Aik said the group would analyse the rubbish to ascertain its origin.
