STATISTICS from the Health Ministry revealed that the number of Malaysians suffering from obesity is seeing an increasing trend over the last few years.
There is no latest data, but based on recent statistics, obesity among Malaysians has increased from 4.4 per cent in 1996 to 14 per cent in 2006.
