UNIVERSITI Sains Malaysia (USM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Newscastle Upon Tyne (UNUT) to conduct joint research, teaching and training programmes on medical studies with emphasis on problems associated with aging.
USM deputy vice-chancellor for research and innovation Prof Asma Ismail said they hoped the joint effort could come up with affordable and cost-effective medical technology for those who faced such problems.
