MALACCA: The Roman Catholic community of Krubong located 12km north-east of Malacca town and the surrounding areas of Cheng, Malim and Durian Tunggal received the best Christmas present ever with the opening of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe recently.
The church’s blessing and dedication ceremony was officiated by Bishop Paul Tan of the Malacca-Johor Diocese on Dec 26 with the attendance of a crowd of 4,500 comprising local and outstation church goers.
