EIGHTEEN-YEAR-OLD Leonard Tan had his first hands-on experience in Chinese percussion when he joined the Balik Kampung drumming workshop organised by the Hands Percussion Team in SMJK (C) Yoke Kuan, Sekinchan, recently.
He was among the 50 participants aged between seven and 18 who learnt the basic techniques of drumming under the guidance Hands Percussion Team performers.
