RM50m for padi growing in Terengganu


HULU TERENGGANU: The Terengganu government has allocated RM50mil for padi-planting programmes in the state this year.

State Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Committee chairman Rozi Mamat said the state hoped the funds would help increase padi production from 4.5 tonnes to five tonnes per hectare.
