THE Jelutong parliamentary constituency’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) received a boost when Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) sponsored RM15,000 worth of safety and communication equipment to the team under the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts.
The ERT, made up mainly of members of the DAP Jelutong service team, was formed in December to provide rapid response to residents affected by fires and floods which are common occurrences in the constituency.
