KUANTAN: An inaugural royal concert to commemorate the birthday of Sultan Ahmad Shah of Pahang this year was a grand affair with performances by veteran and contemporary artistes enthralling the 1,000-strong audience.
Staged at Darul Makmur Auditorium in the Sultan Ahmad Shah Broadcasting Complex here, the concert was the focus of music lovers, including Sultan Ahmad Shah and his wife Sultanah Kalsom, Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob and his wife Datin Seri Junaini Kassim, State Information, Science, Technology and Innovation Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Sharkar Shamsuddin and his wife Datin Mustakizah Sulaiman, Information, Communications, Culture and Arts Deputy Minister Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum and the ministry’s secretary-general Datuk Kamaruddin Siaraf.
