ARTIST Yong Look Lam earned the nickname ‘Kampung Boy’ from his favourite art subject - the simplicity of village life.
Yong, 47, said his background as a kampung boy in Klang, Selangor, in the 1960s may have contributed to his love of rustic scenery.
