JUST as about 1,000 devotees were preparing to leave the Wat Chaiya Mangalaram (Reclining Buddha Temple) on Burma Lane, Penang, to cast away their krathong, it started to rain.
The rain, however, slowed to a drizzle as the devotees walked the 500m to nearby Gurney Drive on Sunday night, singing along the way.
