NEGRI Sembilan Sikh Union (NSSU) emerged champions of the Negri Sembilan Hockey League when they edged giant-killers Tampin Seniors 2-1 in a pulsating final at the Seremban 2 Hockey Stadium recently.
NSSU, who relied heavily on their ageing players, did not have it easy as they had to endure constant attacks from their much younger and fitter opponents before edging the Division Two winners and ending their eight-year title drought.
