No places for residents to conduct funeral rites at PPR flats

THERE are no proper places to conduct funeral rites for residents at the People’s Housing Scheme (PPR) flats throughout the city, said Deputy Federal Territories Minister Datuk M. Saravanan.

He added that there were about 10,000 people living in each block of flats and when a loved one dies, the body was usually left at the community hall on the ground floor before it was buried or cremated.
