MALACCA: With the likes of the world’s top women squash player Datuk Nicol David and home-grown talent Sharon Wee to emulate, squash has in recent years attracted a large following at grassroots and junior age-group levels in the state.
Coupled with the construction of eight international-standard public courts at the Stadium Hang Jebat Complex in Krubong in time for Malacca to host the 2010 Sukma, the Malacca Squash Racquets Association (MSRA) views this eventuality as a boon to its year-round comprehensive development, coaching and competition programmes.
