BEING the only thorn among the roses has not been shameful for paramedic Ahmad Faizal Mohd Salim, 30, who received his diploma in Coronory Care Course under the Post Basic Nursing Graduate Programme in Penang.
Keen to become a paramedic from his school days, Ahmad Faizal said he felt awkward at first, having to be trained as a ‘male nurse’ together with his female counterparts.
