MIRI: Now that there are international flights to Miri, sustaining and making them profitable will require more effort and creativity than at the launch stage, said Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr George Chan Hong Nam.
“It will take a lot of innovation and new tourist attractions to lure Singaporeans to Miri in the long run,” he said as Sarawak welcomed Air Asia’s first Singapore-Miri direct flight on Wednesday.
