Tough training schedule for para athletes ahead of Tokyo meet

THE fasting month has not hindered the Malaysian athletics team’s preparations for the Asian Youth Para Games in Tokyo, Japan on Sept 11-13.

The team comprising 25 athletes and 11 coaches, are currently training twice a day at the National Sports Council (NSC) Training Centre in Bukit Jalil since last week. However the training sessions have been changed to cater for the Muslim athletes.
