COMMUTERS using the Kelana Jaya Light Rail Transit (LRT) line can expect to ride in the new four-carriage trains that will be added to the current fleet of two-carriage trains by October.
Six of the trains, which have a passenger capacity of nearly 800, are now being tested and are expected to boost the use of public transport in the Klang Valley from the current 16% to 25% by the end of 2012.
