TAWAU: Clean water from underground sources is now being enjoyed by about 84,500 residents of 300 villages in Sabah through tube well projects, said Deputy Natural Resources and Environment Minister Tan Sri Joseph Kurup.
He said the water was sourced from 69 tube well projects constructed by an agency under the ministry, resulting from studies conducted throughout the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP).
