Retaining walls for Sungai Chenderiang

THE Perak Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) will start putting up gabion retaining walls along parts of the Sungai Chenderiang riverbank, near Tapah, to prevent any further erosion.

Its director Datuk Abdul Razak Dahalan said work would be carried out along 50m of the riverbank over the next few days to tackle the critical areas first.
