CEOs to speak on outlook for their industries

SCHOOL-LEAVERS, undergraduates and the retrenched who are looking for jobs should not miss the upcoming Trade & Career Fair 2009 to be held on Monday and Tuesday, 10am-10pm, at The Oval, 1 Utama Shopping Centre (New Wing) in Petaling Jaya.

The two-day fair, co-organised by, KBU International College and Star-Jobs Online, is scheduled to be launched by Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha.

More than 25 exhibitors – from such industries and sectors as sales and marketing, hospitality, food and beverage, insurance, and retail – will be taking part in the fair.

Among the positions that will be available during the fair are care consultants, graphic designers, education planners, business development and talent for commercials.

Students may also use this platform to lay the groundwork for securing employment upon graduation.

Resume assessment sessions will be held for those who are keen to compile and present impressive resumes. Visit for the agenda.

In addition, it will be hosting the CEO Live@StudioV in conjunction with the fair. The CEOs of various companies will talk about the outlook for their respective industries as well as the challenges they face in the five sessions, as follows:
