A PRIVATELY-OWNED plot in Pendang district has been identified as the proposed new location for an illegal pig slaughterhouse at Kampung Berjaya in Jalan Putra in Alor Setar.
Kedah Pigs Trader and Slaughterer Association chairman Liew Lip Kooi said the association found the Pendang site more suitable compared to other locations it had earlier identified in Pokok Sena and Kota Setar.
