DBKL: Only dead trees were felled

THE Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has issued a statement in response to StarMetro’s report (“Green war set to be a protracted affair”) on Wednesday to clarify that only dead trees were chopped down in Jalan Beringin near Bukit Damansara.

Residents of the neighbourhood were upset because they were never informed by the DBKL about the felling of seven trees along the road since February.
