IN an effort to legalise hawker trades, including those that have mushroomed following the economic slowdown, the Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP) will issue hawkers with temporary permits depending on their location.
MPSP councillor Soon Lip Chee said the permits would, however, be given for a maximum of three years only.
