SINGAPORE: A Singapore health authority has warned the public not to consume a traditional medicine labelled Air Ikan Haruan as it contains an undeclared potent medicinal substance.
In a statement, the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) said it had detected dexamethasone in the medicine. It said that dexamethasone was a prescription drug used to treat inflammatory conditions such as arthritis.
