Huey Han conquers the strain of playing three finals on one night

THE strain of playing three finals on a single night failed to deter fast rising badminton talent Chew Huey Han from notching a double victory at the recent Penang Under-12 & Under-16 Individual Badminton Championships held at the Penang Badminton Association Hall.

Although she started the night on a losing note in the Under-16 mixed doubles final, the 16-year-old Heng Ee Secondary School student refused to be disheartened and went on to capture the girls’ singles and doubles crowns.
