THE move to “legalise” the 2,850 illegal factories in Selangor will be completed in three months in which the land status for the factories will be changed from agriculture to industrial.
Factories and village committee chairman Ean Yong Hian Wah said the state government had also introduced a more attractive scheme for owners of such factories to pay the new land premiums under the industrial status.
