Puma celebrated its 10th year involvement with elite motorsports recently in conjunction with the Malaysian Grand Prix.
The evening began with a fashion showcase from Puma’s new collection – Ferrari; with the range’s ‘product hero’, Ferrari-Furio shoes, Women’s Shala and Fitness; and Puma’s FTPA which is a heritage line that re-interprets original and iconic designs from the Puma archives.
The catwalk presentation got the 500 guests on their toes with Puma ambassador DJ Daryl B spinning his tunes. Guests were also treated to various games, where Puma Ferrari-Furio shoes, caps, and tickets for the Malaysian F1 race were given away.
Some of the celebrities at the event were drifter Leona Chin, TV host/personality/writer Xandria Ooi, TV host/personality Belinda Chee, Fly FM DJ Ben; 2008 Estee Lauder Model of the Year winner Cay Kuijpers, singer Prema Yin and radio host Jay Menon.
The night continued with emcees Joanne Kam Poh Poh and Phat Fabes who entertained the guests with their comedic routines before electro-hip-hop performer AraByrd took to the stage and gave a high-energy live performance.
In maintaining the anniversary tone, Puma together with Hitz.fm would be organising a street party in conjunction with the release of the Fast and Furious 4.
The party will take place at the piazza area of The Curve on May 13 at 8pm.
Fans could also try their luck on the ‘Skin Ur Racer’ contest, which ends on May 4 where prizes include cash money, the limited edition Furio V Mid Cut SF shoe as well as exclusive tickets to visit the Ferrari Factory in Italy.
