New leprosy cases in Pahang


ROMPIN: While the country is on high alert due to dengue and chikugunya fever, leprosy or Hansen’s disease is becoming a worrying illness in Pahang.

In expressing this concern, State Health Department director Datuk Dr Rosnah Ismail said that 16 new cases had been detected in Pekan, Rompin and Maran.
