SOME 1,000 families living in flood-prone Kampung Masjid and Kampung Dodol in Sungai Pinang, Penang, can breathe easier when a RM3mil flood mitigation project in Sungai Jelutong is completed in the middle of next year.
Datuk Keramat assemblyman Jagdeep Singh Deo said the project was expected to take off in three months.
