Body scanner installed to cut down smuggling


A RM1mil security bodyscan machine installed in August last year at the customs checkpoint at the KL International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang has yet to be commissioned.

And during this eight-month period, there were eight cases of Ketamin smuggling last year and five cases within the first 10 weeks of this year, involving a total street value of nearly RM8mil.
