No need for foreigners in healthcare and hospitality fields

THE Penang Labour Department needs to monitor more closely the job opportunities in the healthcare and hospitality sectors.

Deputy Chief Minister II Dr P. Ramasamy told a press conference that a proper mechanism had to be put in place to ensure that companies in the healthcare and hospitality sectors do not engage foreign labour to perform the tasks that a local could also handle.
