No crowd at midnight bazaars

THE economic downturn is being felt by almost everyone and traders at the midnight bazaars in Kuala Lumpur are not spared.

The midnight bazaars were launched by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to give petty traders an avenue to sell their wares. The bazaars open from 9pm till 4am daily. The first bazaar was launched in 2006 in Danau Kota and has so far been doing well just like the bazaar adjacent to the Velodrome in Cheras.
